At first, I tried to dispute the negative marks directly with the credit bureaus and got nowhere. Mostly they ignored my letters. When the bureaus actually responded to my credit dispute, they refused to delete Midland from my credit report. They used a bunch of legal jargon that no normal person can understand. I felt trapped.
I went back to my loan agent at the bank and told her my situation. She recommended Lexington Law. They have helped a lot of people just like me who have gone on to get approved for new home loans. I took her recommendation and called their toll-free number (1-800-232-2903). I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. The guy asked me simple questions about my credit and what my goal was. Needless to say, I signed up and immediately felt inspired. Someone was on my side and willing to help me get into my dream home. Things just kept getting better.
A few weeks later, Lexington Law got Midland Collection Agency to voluntarily remove the $10,923.65 collection item from all three of my credit reports! They also deleted other charge offs and collection items that damaged my credit score.
I saw results within 30 days. I was back on track, they were able to fix my credit score and in just a few short months it was in the 700’s! We were ready to hit the open houses. This time, we had the upper hand and were confident that we could close without paying high interest rates. In a matter of weeks, we got approved for a home loan at a 6.25% interest rate (this was the lowest anybody got at that time).
We bought a home that needed a little bit of work in a great neighborhood and already have some equity in the house.
Here is Real Proof From This True Story

Here is the letter I received from Midland Collections. They said I owed $10,923.65. They reported this to the credit bureaus which ruined my credit score.

Remember, when I tried disputing the Midland Account, I got nowhere. Somehow Lexington Law convinced Midland to voluntarily delete all the bad credit from my reports! Here is a copy of the letter which proves Midland Credit Management was deleted from all 3 credit bureaus.

How to Handle a Phone Call from a Midland Credit Management Bill Collector
First, remain professional. Losing your temper will not help you gain the upper hand. Second, do not try to befriend the bill collector. Your tone and manner will go a long way in favorably resolving a bad credit debt. Striking a balance between authoritative and professional is best.
Second,Do your homework. Has the statute of limitations expired on the debt? Can the collector even verify the debt (i.e. have you conducted debt validation? ) Has the debt already been passed around to various collection agencies before being sold to MCM? Any of the above scenarios will likely devalue the debt and mitigate the amount they expect to collect.
Third, Communicate your offer by mail. Bill collectors are professional hustlers. They spend hours each day training, manipulating, persuading, harassing, and sadly, often conning, debtors into paying debts of questionable legitimacy. Why not limit your communication to writing where you control when and how you discuss your position? Plus, written communication makes it much easier to document a paper trail and dissuades bill collectors from trying questionable collection tactics. Thus, next time a bill collector calls, you can simply state these words: "I prefer any further communication be in writing." (You may also want to follow-up a written statement to the same effect.)
Remember, the bill collector does NOT share your same goals. He could care less about the accuracy of your credit reports. He does not care about whether you disputed the accuracy of the debt. In fact, if you say anything other than "how can I pay you?" the collector probably views you as a waste of time. In other words, he will only be satisfied if he makes a commission - even if it means you go without food until your next paycheck!
In sum, dealing with aggressive bill collectors is like a high-stakes poker match. It is crucial that you maintain your 'poker face.' Being overly chatty and saying too much to a bill collector is the equivalent of "showing your hand" in the middle of the game.
More Proof that Lexington Law Can Delete Bad Credit

Not only was Midland Credit Management (MCM) removed, but other negative items were permanently removed as well. Here is a letter from Experian stating these collections and charge offs were removed. Lexington Law removed stubborn items by using debt validation techniques, credit bureau disputes, escalated information demands, and creditor-direct interventions.

Here is a letter from Equifax with another collection deleted. This one is from NCO Financial. Another big collection agency that Lexington has helped others remove from their credit reports.
Altogether Lexington Law deleted nearly all of my bad credit including credit card charge offs, a defaulted student loan, utility and medical charge offs. Best of all was that Midland backed off, agreed to stop all their collection efforts and voluntary remove the negative collection marks from my credit reports!
Here Are the Exact Steps that I Used to Beat Midland Credit Management(MCM):
Step 1: After months of trying to do this on my own, I listened to my loan agent’s recommendation and went to LexingtonLaw.com
Step 2: I called their toll-free number (1-800-232-2903) to see what they could do for me.
Step 3: I signed up for their monthly service and finally got Midland Credit Management and other collections off my credit report! My husband and I are now in our new home and love working on the house together.
